Harry Potter Battles Tangled for Box Office Supremacy
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 looks like it will hold on to the top spot for the second weekend in row, although Tangled is not all that far behind. The 50th animated film from Walt Disney Pictures, Tangled is performing better than expected with $11 million on its opening day and another $8 million on Thanksgiving (Harry Potter did $14.4 million on Wednesday and $11.5 on Thanksgiving).

Love and Other Drugs is struggling to find an audience, placing 6th with $2.2 million and $1.9 million over the same time frame. And Dwayne Johnson back as an action stud apparently doesn't appeal to audiences the way his more family-friendly films do, with Faster ranking 7th with just $1.5 million and $1.9 million over its first two days in release.
